Location is perfect for walking to shops and dining. The heated pool was nice, but the breakfast options were very limited. I enjoyed the bike rental nearby to explore the area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfy room, perfect location with everything in walking distance. The only downside was noise from other guests at night. Enjoyed the pool area, but it was too cold to swim. Staff provided great tips for local bike tours. Breakfast had nice pastries and coffee available all day.

Top selection for a city escape in Solvang with excellent value for money. Staff is exceptional and friendly.

stayed at king frederik inn for just one night, and it was fantastic. the room was impeccably clean with beautiful white decoration, and the location right in the heart of the main square was amazing. we enjoyed the continental breakfast with fresh pastries from a nearby bakery, and the staff were very helpful.

I chose King Frederik Inn for its convenient location near top attractions in Solvang. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who ensured a memorable stay. The complimentary morning pastries were a delightful touch, and the proximity to historic California missions, wineries, and local shops made exploring the area effortless.
Sticky bathroom floors and uncomfortable bedding.

We had a wonderful stay in downtown Solvang! The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the middle of all the shops and attractions. We were able to easily explore the area without needing to drive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The staff was attentive and provided great recommendations for things to do in the town. The pool and jacuzzi looked inviting, even though we didn't use them. our experience at this hotel as adult guests was excellent.
Sticky floors in the bathroom were a bit unpleasant.

Great central location, clean room with fridge and microwave, warm pool, delicious Danish pastries for breakfast, friendly and helpful front desk staff.
Felt very homey, no reason to complain.
